STATEMENT

The relationship of sculpture, painting and printmaking is as one thing to me; creative artwork. I like work to have some narrative qualities that can encompass and involve a wide range of people – visual entertainment.

The personal works have a thematic direction, sometimes figurative often landscape. This involves colour, surface modulation and layers.

Using a wide range of materials and scale supported and led by idiosyncratic design I make two and three dimensional works which are exhibited widely in the UK.

I have been responsible for the creation of a number of large site-specific Public Artworks in a variety of materials including wood, steel, Cor-Ten and stainless steel for private and local authority clients including the NHS.
